Organization at a glance
Green Disabled Foundation (GDF) is an Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) working in the Sylhet district of Bangladesh. The organization was established in 1997. It was started involving 20 persons with disabilities under the leadership of Late. Rajab Ali Khan Najib, a person with disabilities now the organization has a total of 21 members; among them males 14 and female 7.
The organization implements its activities ensuring equal participation of men and women with disabilities. According to the bylaws of the organization there are 21 members in its General Committee and 7 members are in the Executive Committee.
The organizational activities are implemented by the staff and volunteers following the directives of the General Secretary/ Executive Director. Through the direct involvement of men and women with disabilities, the organization is working to promote the rights of persons with disabilities and improve their lives with support from government and non-government organizations.
Besides, the organization is striving for partnerships with mainstreaming organizations for Disability Inclusion in their programs through ensuring active and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities as well as providing capacity building and technical assistance.

Green Disabled Foundation (GDF) is working in Bangladesh in Sylhet division. It is working in the four districts of Sylhet.
